The Philippines was again tried to be invaded by foreign countries, but this time the war was waged through boxing. Last April 6, Filipino fighters went up against the world as they battled with fighters from Uruguay, Korea, Mexico and Thailand. Again, Filipino boxers emerged victorious as they overcame their contenders with knockouts. Three emerging boxing heroes and one Philippine boxing great gave another reason to uplift the Filipinos with their victories. All the fights resulted into KO’s and in these fights the referee has to step in to stop the fight to prevent further injuries. This is proof that Filipinos are world-class athletes.
