Pacquiao and Hatton camps both confident of victory

As anticipation becomes bigger with the match between Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and British slugger Ricky Hatton, both camps have started to fire barbs at each other. Hatton trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., expressed confidence that his ward would not suffer the same fate as legend Oscar dela Hoya, another ward of his, who lost to the Pacman through a technical knockout in their fight late last year and said that Pacquiao would suffer defeat from Hatton, who remains undefeated at 140 pounds. The Pacquiao camp, on the other hand, has not taken the remarks sitting down, with coach Freddie Roach citing Hatton’s chin as a weak spot and predicting a third round KO finish in favor of his ward. The fight is scheduled in May in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the winner slated to fight the undefeated pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr.
