We may know Joe Calzaghe as the undefeated and undisputed world champion, but once labeled himself as the hungry fighter. Joe has his own rags to riches story but it only took him four fights to get him secured for life. He admitted that he had no money when he turned pro even after winning a British title. The ironic thing is that when he said that it seemed to him that he was paying to fight which should be the other way around. This great boxer couldn’t even pay his mortgage and was literally living on a day to day basis until his big break.
